SAUTENS

For all those who want to stay away from the winter sports centers and are looking for peace and relaxation, but still want to be close to the ski areas, we recommend staying in the romantic village of Sautens. Sautens is quietly located on the western side of the Ötztal valley and is an ideal base for getting to the nearby ski areas. A network of free ski buses connects Sautens to the snow-sure Hochoetz ski area (2km) and the Kühtai ski area (18km).

HORSE-DRAWN SLEIGH RIDES

Horse-drawn sleigh rides, toboggan runs, snow hiking with torchlights and excursions to the beautiful surroundings. Holidays here and in the glacier region are entertaining, sporty and active.

ATMOSPHERIC

Sautens also features cross-country skiing tracks, a floodlit natural toboggan track, an ice curling rink and a vast network of winter hiking trails. Bowling alleys and cozy bars are ideal for entertaining evenings.
